Detchkoff, Clara May passed away peacefully with her family by her side on October 7, 2015 at the age of 84. She is lovingly survived by her husband; William, her sister Alfie Smabach, her daughters Linda and Leann and many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Kari and Olaf Halset.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Clara will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers donations to the Cancer Society of Canada would be appreciated. Cremation arrangemnets have been entrusted to the Baker Family of Grand Forks Funeral Home gffh@shaw.ca.
