Alexander James Mudry “Alex” sadly passed away on November 30, 2016 at his home in Grand Forks, B.C. He was born on November 6, 1937 in Dauphin, Manitoba.

He moved to Surrey, B.C. in 1952 and married his first wife Nell in 1959. They had four children together. In 1972, Alex moved to Salmon Arm, B.C. where he met and married his second wife Jeannette Marie in 1992.

Together they moved to Grand Forks, B.C. in 1999 where Alex enjoyed his retirement days fishing, gardening and playing crib.

He is predeceased by his parents Pearl and William, his first wife Nell, daughter Sandra Jean, brothers Mike, Tony, Steve, Fred and John; and sisters Nettie and Jean. He is survived by his wife Jeannette Marie, sisters Elsie and Mary, his three sons James Alexander, Mark Bruce, Warren Edward, his step-sons Jim Sterling, Greg Sterling, Ken Greencorn, Calvin Greencorn, step-daughter Judy VanWieringen; and numerous grandchildren.

He will be laid to rest in the Evergreen Cemetery in Grand Forks, B.C.
