A couple of B.C. Lions gave a presentation this afternoon (Jan. 29) at GFSS about speaking up against abuse on women with Don't Be A Bystander. The players, J.R. LaRose and Matt McGarva, talked about their personal experiences and different options for people when seeing abuse. The pair than answered questions from the students, took pictures, and then met with a smaller group of students for a more interactive workshop.
The pair urged students to "end the silence on violence against women."
