Hutton Elementary Grade 4/5 teacher Amy Perry and her students are taking part in the Yellow Fish Road Program and as a result, painted yellow fishes by storm drains around the city on Wednesday (June 20).
The program was started by Trout Unlimited Canada and aims to educate Canadians about the dangers of allowing pollutants to enter storm drains, which in turn can contaminate rivers, streams and lakes.
